Administration → Maintenance holds occasional housekeeping tasks.

| Rebuild search index | Something isn't appearing in search that should |
| Recompute rollups | Cost or weight totals look wrong after a bulk change |
| Regenerate thumbnails | Thumbnails are missing or stale after a bulk import |
| Regenerate derivatives | Neutral formats or PDFs are missing for some parts |
| Find orphaned files | Periodic tidy-up of files no longer attached to a part |
Safe to run
These tasks recompute or rebuild; they don't delete your data. Large tasks run in the background and you'll be notified when they finish.
