Getting more help
What this knowledge base isn't, and how to reach a person.
This is a public quick reference. It covers what comes up most often, in general terms.
What it deliberately doesn't cover
- How your company has configured workflows, categories, numbering or permissions — your administrator knows that and we don't
- Anything about how the software is built, hosted or secured
- Commercial questions about your subscription
Try your administrator first
For access, permissions, seats, workflow configuration and password or two-factor resets, your own administrator is both faster and the only one who can act. Support cannot change permissions or sign in on your behalf.
Contacting support
Email [email protected]. Full support — including configuration help, migration and training — is part of your agreement. This knowledge base is a shortcut, not a substitute.
What to include
- What you were trying to do
- What happened instead, with the exact message
- The part number, document number or screen involved
- A screenshot if the screen showed something unexpected
- For add-in problems: your SolidWorks version and Windows version
Support will never ask for your password or two-factor codes, and never needs them. Don't include them in a ticket.
Email [email protected] and a person will pick it up. Include the part number and what you were doing — it saves a round trip.
